We are excited to offer a teaching opportunity at a very attractive location in the state of Kansas!  Perry-Lecompton Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a certified teaching position. Applicants must hold a current Kansas teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for this position or be willing to obtain the endorsement by passing the Praxis exam within two years.

 

This position will be split between Lecompton Elementary School and Perry-Lecompton Middle School. The individual filling this postion will spend half of the day at LES and the other half of the day at PLMS. The district will pay the mileage on this travel for the staff member filling this position.

 

Each classroom in the building is equipped with a Promethean board, and each teacher is issued a classroom desktop computer and/or a laptop, plus an iPad for teaching and administrative tasks. USD 343 is a 1:1 iPad district. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology for instruction and communication with minimal support.

We generally have various supplemental coaching/sponsor positions available.
