PURPOSE: This position requires food prep and serving for the USD 343 School District. The food service worker must work closely with students, staff, and the administration of the district. Typically, you will not work on days school is NOT in session.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license (prefer Kansas)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Health and Tuberculin Certificates on file (after employee offer is made)

- Serves as a role model for children in behavior, appearance, and grooming

- Interacts in a professional manner with all staff members of the school district and community.
- Works effectively with students, teachers, parents, community agencies, and other groups.
- Keep abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques.
- Maintains confidentiality of classroom, student and family information.
- Interacts in a professional manner with other staff members.
- Attend staffing and general staff meetings, as appropriate.
- Assist in the maintenance and inventory of materials.
- Ability to react to changes and frequent interruptions in a productive and positive manner, and handle other duties as assigned by the building Principal and/or Superintendent of Schools.
